Rev. Mary Beth Harper is a life-long member of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and considers herself a product of the Florida Disciples Regional Church. Born in Jackson, TN to Rev. Keith and Shirley Elliott, Mary Beth grew up in the First Christian Churches of Lakeland, FL and Miami, FL.
Mary Beth graduated from Transylvania University in 1985 with a B.A. in Education and taught in the public school systems of AL and FL for 16 years. Mary Beth earned her M.Div. from Asbury Theological Seminary in Orlando and was ordained in 2006 at FCC, Deland. Her ministry experience includes 4 years as Minister of Christian Education in Deland, 4.5 years as co-pastor of First Christian Church in Greenville, NC, and 2.5 years as part of the pastoral team at First Christian Church in Ocala. Other ministry experiences include working with the Youth Ministry Committee in FL, Disciples Women in AL, NC, and FL, the 2010 Quadrennial Planning Committee, Outdoor Ministry (camp) programs in FL and NC, and serving as a Children Worship & Wonder Trainer with Disciples Home Missions.
Mary Beth has been married to Rev. Terry Harper for 39 years and they have 3 children: Peter lives in KY and serves as pastor of Providence Christian Church; Aaron works as an engineer with the Dept. of Transportation in NC and is married to Rebekah; Sarah is married to Daryl and lives in Southern Georgia. Mary Beth and Terry are also the very proud grandparents of 7 year-old Madeline and 2 year old Faith.

Brenda Turrentine retired from the USGS and came to work at the place she's loved a long time. Brenda is active at First Christian Church in Ocala and has served as camp director and counselor for many years. She brings many gifts of organization to this job. Brenda is married to Steve. They have 2 sons, 6 grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter.
